Michigan Coalition for Compassionate Care (MCCC) Internship

MCCC has internship availabilities for the fall semester. Internships are unpaid and part-time, with class credit available. Interns work 10-20 hours per week and have the chance to play a vital role in a major statewide campaign.

MCCC intern responsibilities include:

* Voter outreach, including voter registration, campus organizing, and Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts;

* Assisting with lawn sign distribution and maintenance;

* Monitoring news outlets for relevant articles and other coverage;

* Assisting with maintenance of online social networking sites; and

* Miscellaneous projects and research as assigned.

Candidates should expect a fast-paced, professional environment, have excellent oral and written communications skills and strong Internet research skills, and be meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented. Strong candidates will have an interest in learning about electoral politics, excellent interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently.
